12th YMCA Mandarin Speaking Award

Northoaks Primary participated in the 12th YMCA Mandarin Speaking Award for the second year. This event is endorsed by the Ministry of Education and Promote Mandarin Council with both entities partnering the YMCA as co-organisers. Inaugurated in 2006, the annual YMCA MSA contributes to the national education effort in promoting Mandarin speaking by giving school students the opportunity to sharpen their Mandarin speaking skills and build confidence through competitive public speaking and presentation. We are pleased to share that Chai Yee Xin from Primary 5 Juniper was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for her commendable performance at the competition.
