School Information

School Hours:

There will be silent reading programme or pre-assembly from 7.30 am to 7.40 am, followed by morning assembly at 7.40am. All students must attend the morning assembly.

School Rules

1. Be neatly dressed in the correct school attire.
2. Be punctual for school.
3. Be courteous and considerate at all times.
4. Take proper care of school property.
5. Keep the school premises clean.
6. Queue up for food and drinks in the canteen.
7. Line up quietly during assembly and after recess.
8. Walk quietly and speak softly in the school premises.
9. Do not leave the school compound without permission during school hours.
10. Greet teachers, staff or any visitors to the school.
11. Students are to wear the prescribed school uniform. Modification to the school uniform is not allowed.
12. Students who are Singapore Citizens must sing the National Anthem and take the Pledge. Students will take the  Pledge with the right fist placed over the heart.
13. All male students must be clean-shaven at all times. Moustache and beards are not allowed.
14. All students are not allowed to have in their possession any weapon. They are also not allowed to bring any weapon-like item which is used or intended to be used to cause harm to others.
15. Students are strongly discouraged to bring mobile phones to school. If the mobile phones are brought to school, the phone must be switched off and kept in the school bags during curriculum hours and after-school programmes. This is to minimise disruptions to teaching and learning. Students are not allowed to use their mobile phones in school at all times. The school shall not bear any responsibility for the loss or damage of any mobile phones.
16. For the safety and security of all students, smart watches are not allowed in school. Students are encouraged to wear a standard wrist watch.
17. The school may require students to surrender their belongings for a reasonable period to assist in a disciplinary investigation. This belongings include but are not limited to mobile phones and smart watches.

School Dental

Operating Hours:
Please be informed that the dental clinic is opened in our school on the 2nd and 4th week of the month.

Students, who need urgent treatment on days where the dental clinic is not operating in NKPS, can make appointment with the following dental clinics.
